From: The 1930's

Upon a Friday p.m. whim
We ambled in to Tiny Tim’s
Tearooms on St Margarets Street
For sustenance (that’s things to eat)

We climbed the stair to the first floor
To a world evoking days of yore
With crystals dangling from the ceiling
It gave us both the gayest feeling

We mused upon the menu fayre
And chose some items we found there
Some tea, a scone, honey and jam.
It was then we noticed the piano man

No place for tunes by Beck or Nico
We consoled ourselves with Orange Pekoe
He played Dave Brubeck, and Take Five
We supped our brew and felt alive

An establishment of such delight
We hope it’s open late at night
It’s place in Canterbury long overdue
It even has a ghost or two!

We’ll book up for our next tea party
For pufkins, scones, but please NO LATTE!!

I have had the good fortune of pre-tasting a few of Tiny Tim's delectable goodies and I cannot wait to get the full service! The Tearoom looks fantastic and I can't think of a more charming way to spend an afternoon in Canterbury.

Noticed the shop today and tried to see in.
Can't wait for the opening and plan to visit on my birthdaynext week. Thought I would check it out on the web-site. Just my cup of tea!
